Best present!

Was literally showered with presents this year at Christmas, but the best present was the
FAB-U-LOUS leather jacket from my boyf. I've had so many in the past but really really reeeeeaaallly wanted this one so he got it for me. What a babe!

Quick buys and Miranda Hart for Prime Minister

Eco Tools foundation brush - £7.99

Zara Basic Handbag - £39.99

Broadway false nails - £5.99

Ted Baker makeup bag, Liz Earle cleansing set, Swarovski Earrings,
Miranda Series 1 & 2 and Miranda Hart Biography.

Just a few of my presents from Christmas, had such a lovely day.
Need to start on the Miranda book as soon as possible.
Lost my Clinique foundation brush on Christmas Eve when I was out which was ridiculous as it cost me a bomb. Didn't actually need the handbag but hey ho! And pulled my acrylic nails off last week so decided to get some quick falsies for Boxing night festivities!

Christmas outfit

Deciding what to wear on Christmas Eve, Christmas day, Boxing day and NYE is always an issue.
Trying to find four outfits just wrecks my head to be fair. Bought these two dresses in Topshop yesterday but definitely need to take one back as I don't think i'll wear them much.
(I'm 110% sure I'll wear them once and never again)
I'm not overly keen on either dress now but I do like them, just annoying that I always end up i this madness a day before Christmas!

Wishlist #1

Leopard print faux fur hightop converse|| Deep Red platform ||Chelsea ankle boots
These three are on my want list for November, even though two new pairs of heels and a pair of Converse arrived in the post this week.

Lets play a game: How many times can I wear this outfit?

Ok so it seems all my pictures have gone blurry (thank you iPhone upload) but my point is, how many times can I actually wear this outfit?

I'm one of these people who never wear the same thing more than once unless it's to two completely different places but seriously I went out two weekends ago and wore it (1st picture) went on holiday to Jamaica and wore it for a 'family photo shoot' (2nd picture, yes it was very embarrassing) and then two nights later I wore it out for dinner. (3rd picture) And it got me thinking, you can actually wear things more than once as long as you don't over do it but it saves so much money as nothing is cheap these days, especially if you're a student.

Look Show 2012 at Royal Courts of Justice, London City

Alesha Dixon performing

Kelly Brook modelling her own range for New Look

What a great way to start October.
I recently won tickets to Look Magazines Show 2012 at The Royal Courts of Justice in Central London.
On arrival, myself and my guest were greeted by waiters with champagne and more opportunities to enter fabulous competitions to win amazing prizes.

Mixing with the stars, literally. One by one I noticed more and more people I recognised at the champagne reception. Michelle Keegan, Lydia Rose Bright, Mark Wright, Dionne Bromfield, Alesha Dixon,
Kelly Brook, Cheska and Rosie from Made in Chelsea and the AMAZING, WHITNEY PORT.
Stunning is the only word I can use to describe here.
Once the show begun we were treated to a sneak peak at the winter collections for high street brands such as River Island, Mango, Primark and Next. Alesha Dixon then took to the stage to perform during the interval, wowing the crowd with a song many remember from 'back in the day' Scandalous, which she sang with her girlband Miss-Teeq. As well as this, Kelly Brook also modelled her own range from New Look and did an amazing job!

Thankyou to Look Magazine for a faaaaabulous day!

First of all, I need to say a massive thankyou to missguided.co.uk
Ordered a dress at around half 5 today and had it at my house by before 1pm today.
F-A-B
I'm feeling the need to blog about this as the last time I ordered a dress from there including next day delivery it never turned up. So thankyou to the kind courier who squidged it tightly through my letterbox and didn't take it back to the post depot like most people. Now I have something to wear friday, wahey!

Monday 24 September 2012

I can't believe it's finally here, the first of my friends is turning 18.
I know this post isn't fashion related really but I just can't believe it! It's the strangest thing when the people you've grown up with are turning 18, it seems so far away that we were in primary school together.
Anyway the weekend was so manic, had so much homework for school, essays upon essays and trying to find an outfit at the same time. I ordered a dress from New Look which arrived and I didn't like it, everyone around me did but once I decide on something there's no going back. Anyway I've just ordered another dress this time from missguided.co.uk (you'd think I would have learnt the first time that internet shopping the week before a party isn't wise) but yeah, the dress is hopefully coming tomorrow.  Fingers and toes crossed that its nice otherwise i'm literally going to have to run to the shops, oh my. Genuinely don't think I can handle anymore stress. I'll post a picture of the dress with this post, let me know what you think X

Vodafone VIP, Richard Nicoll at LFW

Somerset House Courtyard

Press at Richard Nicoll

Sooo, I haven't had a chance to blog in about two weeks. Here's a little update for you all,
On Sunday I attended the Vodafone VIP Richard Nicoll Show. It was everything I expected and more. Having never been to a show at LFW before I didn't really know what to expect. It was amazing though, everyone was so friendly and afterwards we sat and drank champagne on the Riverside Terrace till late. Definitely want to go again next year!

Beautiful followers, we are all obviously followers of fashion. Although I'm only going for one day, I still need an outfit. Can you think of anything? What would you wear? Help a girl out xoxo

All hail Marc Jacobs
I use perfume, but rarely find one where I want to go out and buy it immediately. Marc Jacobs is definitely going to be the reason why i'm skint straight after I finish work this weekend. I first smelt this beautiful creation in the September edition of Elle. Its fruity and reminds me of apples, i'm now on the hunt to get a sample and then definitely treat myself to this. Have you smelt it? X

Is cheap always best?

Recently I've been buying a lot more shoes from Primark and although they are cheap they are also very very painful. The price of these shoes got me thinking though, would you rather pay an extra £20/£30 for a pricey pair whether it be heels or flats or keep it simple and pay a small amount that hurt your feet? My answer is an extra bit of money but when you're in the shop, you'd rather just pay for them even if they are £12-18 just becaus they look nice. Here are my latest Primark heels and at the moment I can't even get my feet into them as they are soo painful. What's your thoughts on this? X

Friday 31 August 2012

Today I'm wearing...

Disco pants from topshop, waiting till Christmas to get the American Apparel ones, pumps from new look, khaki army style jacket that EVERYONE is wearing and a black croptop. The one day I decide to wear all black, it is so so sunny out. Anyone else loving the military/army jackets? Or hating them? X

Reading Festival Mateeeeeee

I bought my ticket for Reading Fest so long ago that I literally forgot about the whole thing. We got early bird but decided going tomorrow would be better as four days is definitely long enough haha
Spent so much money today on little things that I didn't even realise I needed. Obviously the sleeping bag isn't mine as a 17 year old girl would definitely not decide that a Manchester United sleeping bag would be a great thing to bring anywhere outside of your household. The rucksack is also obviously not mine, its my auntys thats been in her loft since she went travelling 14 years ago hahaha.
Hopefully i'll have a good time at Reading and will post lots more when i'm back! XXXXXX

Liebster Blog Award

I was nominated for this award by the beautiful Jade at youcancallmeJadey
I love Jades blog as its just like my own, a combination of all different things i love. For example, what makeup she's using at the moment, the olympics! (who didn't love it?!) and pictures from her daily life. Its great seeing what other people like yourself are doing each day. Her blog is great and you should definitely check it out!

From what I gather, these are the rules of the Liebster Blog AwardThe main aim of the Liebster Blog Award is to help notice up-and-coming bloggers who have fewer than 200 followers.

1. Post a link to your nominator's blog with some information about him/her.
2. Share 11 facts about yourself
3. Nominate 11 blogs with fewer than 200 followers
4. Follow your nominator
5. Notify the blogs you nominated.

So here are my eleven facts.
1. I spend most of my time trying to diet and usually letting myself down by getting drunk or spending three hours in mcdonalds with my friends.2. I have been an Irish Dancer since I could walk, my mum is my teacher so naturally dancing has always been something i've loved and also teaches you not to judge a book by its cover!3. My dream is to own an apartment overlooking the River Thames in Central London.
4. I want to study Journalism at LJMU next september.
5. I love gaelic football.
6. I used to have 3 ducks and 6 chickens living at the bottom of my garden.
7. I want a job like Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada.
8. I go through phases of loving all different kinds of things, for example, last summer i became obsessed with doing my hair perfect every day... weird
9. I am a control freak
10. I love writing my blog
and last but not least, 11. I've written over 35,000 tweets.

And now here are my fabulous blogs that I have nominated...and judging by google you only have to nominate five so here they are.

1. Kelsey Click here
2. Danni Click here
3. Shannon Click here
4 Emma Mansfield Click here
5. Emma Click here

I love all these blogs even though they don't all post the same things. Keep up the good work girls!

Another holiday

So I'm off on holiday again, yay! Ireland for 10 days then reading festival when I get back. The Olympic closing ceremony last night was amazing though wasn't it? Even people that weren't overly interested in it at the start have now ended up with 'olympic fever'. I'm sad to see it end really because it brought people together in places you'd never expect. Last week I went to my local shopping centre and they had a big screen up broadcasting it to all the shoppers. It was so cute!

Late night post

It's 00.18! Wahey, most people reading this will think I'm either on the way out or having an 'early night' and being boring by coming home but I'm actually just home from... the cinema! How exciting! Hahaha. Went to see Magic Mike, it was really good definitely one for the girls though as I really don't think boys would enjoy it. Enough about my lavish late night lifestyle, today I was pretty bored and decided to take a trip to hobby craft to pick up some stuff... Long story cut short, I ended up spending quite a bit of money and after an hour of changing my mind on styles and designs, this was the outcome of my day:

Mummas birthday!

Tomorrow is my wonderful mums birthday!! Off for dinner in Central London and then on to see The Wizard of Oz at the London Paladium. Looking forward too it! No idea what to wear though so if you have any suggestions then let me know please!

Anyway, I went shopping today and got her two things. Although she only has two presents to open from her three children, they were pricey! Hahaha
Zara was my first choice obviously as she eat, sleeps, breaths their clothes. The scarf was £17.99 and the silk top was £40. The top was pricey but obviously worth it for my mum.

Happy birthday mumma! Love you xxxx

MAC Bronzer

As I said in my last tweet, my camera is broken at the moment so I thought i'd just get this quick photo off google as I wanted to blog about this a-maz-ing bronzer from MAC. I've never really been a lover of MAC if i'm honest just because it is pricey and there are better brands out there. However, whilst browsing in duty free at the airport I found myself in the MAC department. Long story short, I ended up having my makeup done by the lovely makeup artists and then bought the bronzer! It goes on so lightly and although it only comes in one shade, if used with an oversized bronzer brush it comes out perfect
giving you that sunkissed glow, literally.

Now that i've calmed down from seeing McFly yesterday i'm able to post about what I wore haha!
Didn't want to look too ott and not too underdressed as it was all for the Olympics so therefore a reason to make an effort. And my camera is broken so I can't post a photo of my outfit...

Brown leather pumps, black very skinny jeans, a black vest top, Alexander McQueen scarf, gold feather pendant from Accessorize, a green khaki jacket and brown satchel. Then a few gold bangles, tanned skin and Ray Ban sunglasses.

Look what I done...

There seems to be a lot of holidaymakers and sun seekers wearing jelly sandals at the moment so when I was very bored the other day I decided to dig out my jellies from last summer that I didn't wear anymore as the little design in the middle had come off. Once I got started I realised coming up with a design and sticking to it wasn't actually that hard and after sowing, cutting and sticking.
 This was my final product.

Bt London Live

A chance to see McFly for free
Having fangirled over McFly since they first hit the charts 9 years ago, I never thought I'd have the chance to see them for free. On arrival my friends and I assumed their must be some kind of catch and that we would end up paying for some sort of entry ticket but no... Thousands of people had gathered in Londons Hyde Park for BT London Live, where huge screens showed different Olympic sports taking place, a 'Cadbury Experience' and a huge stage that McFly took to at 5.20 yesterday. It was amazing! And all for free! Being in that atmosphere really made you feel involved in the Olympics and increased my love for Team GB dramatically especially as Bradley Wiggins made an appearance! So if you're in and around London in the next few days, check out London Live!

Karl and Pippa

Been on holiday for the last two weeks, checked vogue.co.uk and first thing i see is Karl Lagerfelds acid tongue coming in to play again by saying he 'doesn't like her face'. This just reminds me of when he said Adele was 'too fat.' He's amazing but come on, no one should go around slagging off others no matter who they are. Its uncalled for.

rant over..

Royal Ascot 2012

So gutted I didn't get to attend Royal Ascot this year! Some people looked beautiful and some looked... well, awful to be blunt. I saw a picture of a woman wearing a hat by The Libertarian. If anyone saw it then you know exactly what i'm talking about when I say oh my god. A fry up, on a hat? Really? I'm all for statement hats but at least have a classier dish on your head if you're attending that kind of event. My mumma went this year and looked gorgeous though

New purchases!

Going out for my birthday this weekend so the shorts are a must and they were reduced from £40 to £25! Trying out the Soap and Glory sit tight gel! It comes in a bottle that has like roller balls at the bottom to apply it easier, you're meant to see results after 4 weeks but on some reviews people said they noticed results after the first use... hopefully that's the case for me! Eylure eyelashes for the shenanigans of saturday night and more Clinique foundation. It works so well with my skin and I ended up spending £45 in boots :(
